Aaron Fryklund's music has been described in the press as "a joy to hear" and "Broadway worthy", and his film work earned him the "BEST SCORE" award at the 37th Boston Science Fiction Festival. Fryklund is a composer and arranger, an educator teaching high school orchestra, and serves as a church music minister in North Texas. His aesthetic covers a wide range of compositional styles and his works represent multiple mediums, including acoustic music, electroacoustic and interactive computer music, film scores, theatrical works, video pieces, and kinetic sculptures. As a conductor, Fryklund possesses broad experience before orchestras, wind ensembles, choirs, and small and new music ensembles. Many of his published works for young orchestra have been listed as "Editor's Choice" by music sellers such as J. W. Pepper and Stanton's Music. Since 2020 Fryklund has been one of the composers for Texas' UIL string orchestra sight reading contest and since 2023 has been the exclusive composer and publisher of UIL Full Orchestra sight reading music.
